Yes, we absolutely offer beginner Pilates classes! These classes are designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of Pilates, with a focus on proper form and alignment.
Whether you're new to Pilates or just looking to refresh your technique, this is the perfect starting point. We encourage you to take it slow and ask any questions you may have during the class.
Classes are physio led and within each class there will always be different options and progressions to ensure everyone gets the most out of the class.

Pilates is suitable for all levels of fitness and exercises can be modified to suit everybody. Whether you're looking for a challenge or keen to work on gentle strength training, Pilates is excellent for toning your muscles, as most of the focus is on controlled, repetitive muscle movements, holding poses and using your core. Regular Pilates will help you to feel healthy, fit, and toned, particularly when combined with other forms of exercise.

A referral letter from your GP or consultant if you have one. Any x-rays or scan results that you may have relating to your injury or condition. You might want to bring a pair of shorts with you and/or or a vest-type top.
-
This is up to you, but ideally as soon as possible after your injury to advise you and start treatment. If you have recently had surgery, your Consultant should advise you on when is best to start your physiotherapy.
-
This depends on factors such as:
The service you are booking In for
How long you've had a problem
The severity of your symptoms and condition
Your personal goals (short/long term) - For example, training for a specific sport or event may require a longer course of treatment for a knee injury than a sedentary office-worker.
A fairly standard course of physiotherapy would be 3-5 treatment sessions but this can vary considerably.
For advice on what a client should and shouldn’t be doing in relation to their condition or problem might just attend for 1-2 sessions to be shown some specific exercises to do themselves at home and receive some general management advice for their condition. Similarly a client with a relatively minor injury might just need a few treatments to assess their condition and alleviate their symptoms.
A client receiving treatment post-operatively or for a condition that has been present for some time may require treatment over a longer period to see them through to full rehabilitation. For instance, post op liposuction 6-12 sessions.
